About Me:
The camera I use to shoot videos is a Sony DSC-HX9V/B pocket camera, which does a very good job with video, and audio. The microphone is much better than previous models at picking up low frequencies. It is capable of shooting 1080/60p video, with dolby digital stereo sound. It is also capable of shooting 16.2 megapixel still images, while recording video, and does a very good job, as long as the light is adequate. Video can be recorded to memory for 29'50" before the camera goes into standby, and then can be immediately restarted again....the camera has 16x optical zoom, and can be used while recording video, and can get very good close ups at 50-60 feet, or more. The battery last about 60 minutes, with GPS off, Beep off, Power save on stamina, and display on #2. Overall, it is a very decent small camera. I use the widescreen 16:9 aspect ratio format for movies, and process on an Apple iMac using the iMovie program v.9.02. The iMovie program is currently not capable of processing AVCHD 1080/60p movies, hopefully this will be upgraded soon......Feel free to leave a comment about the video if you like, as it gives feedback to the musicians, and myself. Some of my favorites are the Cranberries, Led Zepplin, Beth Hart, Patti Smith, Amanda Palmer, Sleeper, Death in June, Tori Amos. I like most Blues, Regga, Bluegrass, Americana, and Folk Rock music, and I listen to a lot of local artists of different genera that are very good....
Books:
Books about Einstein, Darwin, Morality & ethics, Mycology, True Crime, Universe Physics, and psycho fiction, science fiction, general fiction, and anything else that holds my interest .... I have a wide interest when it comes to reading. I also have a Kindle, and love it....
