the sound of philly.........looooove the ojay's absolutely brilliant group and such a distinctive vocal.these songs still stand up today as much as they did back then.fabulous memories...and i'm always caning their tunes and have got the very best of the o'jays on at this moment.

this is a never to repeated version of a tune....love gladys.......love the tunes of my youth and feel sorry for the kid's today as they are never going to replicate this good shit.

this is a serious tuneeeeeeeeeeeeee-i love it and remember it from back in the day....war were so underated.

feelgood tv for sure...loved this theme tune and the programme brings a bit of nostalgia and makes you hanker for more innocent times and actually feel sorry for todays little un's as they have inherited a much more uncertain world.

i used to love to sing along to this ...brought back some good memories.

i sooooooo love this record as i can feeel the emotion in every word and to learn that the guy who wrote it took his own life after being rebuked....so sad.

i used to go to youth club when this tune came out and i remember 'everything is tuesday' love this era for music that is timeless..it cannot be beat.

love donny hathaways voice and his death was a sad loss to the music world..you can feel every word he sings and believe it.

i am fortunate enough to have had my teen years when this music was about....i don't think the music at present is in the same league although i'm liking adele and amy winehouse and there is some talent about but not in the abundance of this era.love the sound of philly and motown as well.

this is the year i had my daughter and i loooove this song 1976 was a great year for music in fact so was the rest of the 70's decade...i've got 3 grown up kids now 35 29 and 27 and they know just as much about the music from my youth as i do as it was always playing around them from their birth ...

my favourite vocalist of all time and i love this song..how talented are the bee gees for writing it?....heard lots of different versions but al green has eclipsed them all.get well soon robin gibb.x
