Sometimes I wonder about life...
First... is it really happening? Is life real? Or are we... all of us... just figments of our imagination? In our own little world?
Second... is there really a god/goddess? If so... who? Why was he/she god/goddess? What makes he/she so special?
Third... Are we alone? Or is there someone/something else? Besides us?
Fourth... If we aren't alone... who? Who else is there? They could be right here... with us... watching us... invisible to the human eye. They've never really been to the center of the earth... how do we know it isn't a secret organization... waiting for the perfect moment to strike... to capture us... and use us...
Fifth... was the human population meant to last so long? Our senses are so weak... how do we know we weren't just bait... food... for all of the stronger... more powerful creatures?
Sixth... Why are our lives so brief? Why so short? We are only here for 100 years or less... why? What does time mean for us?
Seventh... How do we know that the animals... our very own pets... won't turn against us someday? Maybe even in the near future... maybe... they'll eat us... like prey...
Eighth... Why us? Why me? Is there a higher purpose to life? Was I meant to do something fatal to the human race? If so... what? What am I supposed to do?
Ninth... The atmosphere is expanding... but what's on the outside? Is there just nothing? If you exit the atmosphere... what will happen? Will we freeze... stuck there... in a lapse of time and space... not moving... not breathing... or will you enter another world? One you don't know... and they don't know you...?
Tenth... How small are we? If you have a photo of the earth and the sun in a comparison... it makes the earth look like a grain of sand... then you think that the sun is nothing but a star... our closest star... and to think of all of those stars at night... all of those suns...
