"Songs 4 Hate & Devotion" is an emotional rollercoaster ride driven by the intense voice of Tomas Petterson that alternates martially majestic monuments of orchestral sounds, marching drums and percussion with very intimate and fragile moments, mingles Cold-Wave-, Shoegazing- and Minimal-elements with folkloristic structures and that manages to slip in the odd musical quote as well.
