@chaelieyre You can make 3D characters for this game? Go ahead, we can use some UI upgrades. We're all too busy playing the game that no one bother to make one. Also try to keep things optimised while you can - the game still lags from its massive amount of calculations even in ASCII.

You can get a lot of 2D tile graphic packs that other players put together to replace the ASCII. I just started DF with graphic packs and it becomes so much more playable for me.

Two years ago when I was writing a program, I was struggling to make it work as intended for 3 hours straight. Then I let this song play on the speakers and 2 minutes later the program worked.
