Rosa Lee is a deaf artist, known most recently for her solo performance work in The Rosa Lee Show and as co-founder of the word-of-hand magazine KISSFIST. http://read.kiss-fist.com

The Rosa Lee Show, which began in 2004, is a multimedia performance that combines video, music, storytelling, and poetry on stage. This solo live performance, and subsequent DVD, has been seen by thousands
of hearing and deaf onlookers all over the country to rave reviews.

KISSFIST Magazine is a magazine celebrating the lives and art of members of the signing community. Celebrating its one-year anniversary, the KISSFIST community continues to grow.

Rosa Lee began her artistic career in 1993 in the prominent Pah Side Story play. In 1997, she co-founded the performance arts group Dangerous Signs in Rochester, NY, hosted NTIDs talk show Chatting
About, and was a dancer for Deafywood. She also narrated Love Thy Neighbor, directed by Shanny Mow, and directed the Northwest Theatre for the Deafs Death of Silence play in Portland, Oregon.

In addition to her live performing career, Rosa Lee prominently appears on various DVDs, CD-ROMs, and VHS tapes. She is a featured poet on ASL Poetry: Selected Works of Clayton Valli, a narrator in DeafHopes, Till Domestic Violence Do Us Apart, ASL Roses Have You
Ever Seen an ASL Handshape DVD/Book?, Do? TELL! Kids Against Child Abuse DVD, a language model for ASL Video Dictionary & Inflection Guide" (CD-ROM) as well as PepNet's "Gates to Adventure" DVD series, and more. She also appeared as a performer in D-PAN's "Beautiful"
music video as well as a spokeswoman for "Crime Victims Have Rights" Middlesex's Public Service Announcment televsion broadcast.

As a teacher and instructor, Rosa Lee has guided students in the art movement and drama at the Indiana School for the Deaf, for Pah! Deaf Youth Theater Camp, The Magical Literacy Camp and deaf programs in Anchorage, Alaska. She also worked as a skit coordinator for the Youth
Leadership Retreat in Texas.

Rosa Lee is a graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology and Western Oregon University and is currently livng in New England with her husband, Damon Timm and her two cats.
