THose horses were no where near being asked to "charge" that crowd. They are trained withstand violent, hysterical crowds just likek that one. What a bunch of drunk, yankee whackjobs.

There will never, never be another horse quite like Zenyatta. In watching this clip, by the time I get to her 2009 BC win, I am in tears. She's just incredible. Even the best racehorse shouldn't be able to do what SHE could do on the track. Long live the Queen!

I remember this too, watching it on live tv. It broke my heart for that fine, brave filly, Go For Wand, and for her trainer, owner, groom. A breakdown doesn't happen much worse than that.
