Nice... I have a 92 Corrado SLC. (distributor vr6). Do you have any plans of going for more power? I've read that the stock MAF limits us to about 280-300whp. Do you know of a way to modify or retro-fit a MAF that will allow for 350whp? And who would write a file for that? (Jeff @ UM maybe?)

@BlackSabbathGuy Actually... efficiency plays a big role. Look at what ford put out after they realized that head design/flow are important. 5.0 that made 230 hp to a 5.0 that makes 415 or so? But yea, bigger displacement, once made efficient (after heads/cam/exhaust) and tuned for it is nice....

To be honest, after reading mods one can only expect the SRT-4 to win. Bigger turbo, same amount of boost, less power loss through drive train. SRT-4 is a 2.4L right? Are the IX's 2.0? or 2.5? Pretty sure 2.0...

@speacialperson12345 You don't shift AT peak power.. you want to use that power, over and over. So you you figure out where 1200 or 1300 rpm range will have you at the highest average power. Peak power should be around the middle or upper 1/3 of that range.

Get yourself a UM or C2 flash. 7200 rpm rev limiter, more power, and the option to get rid of the CEL. Ask for the "high flow CAT" file.

GJ domestics. Only takes you 4 cylinders, nearly 3 times the displacement, and forced induction to put one car length on a turbo 4 import.

Just saw you comment below. Either way it's bad practice to rest your hand on the shifter. Puts slight strain on the syncros.
