Ronald S. Cook is an experienced Bankruptcy Lawyer on Long Island, New York and is profiled as an expert on the New York Law Journal website and has extensive experience and education with the Bankruptcy Laws in New York State. New York attorneys are only required to take 24 hours of classes over a two year period in order to keep their license to practice law. During the last two year period, Mr. Cook attended 360 hours of law lectures, which is fifteen (15) times the amount of continuing legal education required for lawyers.

Most attorneys spend seven years in college to obtain two degrees (a Bachelors Degree and a Law Degree.) Mr. Cook spent 24 semesters in post-high school training furthering his education. New York is arguably the hardest bar exam to pass in the United States. New York tests 26 different areas of law and thirty percent failed in 2007. Passing the New York bar exam is respected by other states, and many other states offer reciprocity, which means a New York attorney can obtain a law license in the other state without having to take the bar exam for that other state. Mr. Cook passed the New York bar exam on his first attempt.
