Finally got the parts I needed to finish working on the briggs.

After finding out the hard way that my motor had no oil in it, I tore apart the motor. No noticeable damage...gotta love Briggs!

Gotta love old stuff that requires you to turn into a detective in order to find the information you need. I guess its all a part of the fun

I briefly touch upon how I bypassed the fuel shutoff/cutoff solenoid.

We had a little "sonovabitch" moment...FFS.

Turns out the model number I gave for the transaxle is not the correct number. It is really a "Foote 4000-5" (six speed).

I paid $60 for both and he threw in the motor for free.

For a little over $100, this is a great purchase.
