Hello, fellow "Tubers of You". My name is Rich Romanowski and I must confess, that I LOVE my wife and. I have a penchant for writing songs, thus, I mostly write songs that in some small way, reflect this love of mine. What's right about it, what is wrong, in general the human condition of it. That works out to be pretty good. I'm an American, with a love for her. I always have, since my Sophomore year in high school (I am now in my 40's), being heavily influenced by the Beatles, you know, Paul McCartneys first band. While playing lead guitar in a rock band.
throughout my high school days I learned to hone this craft. The band broke up just as I was graduating from high school, Archbishop Ryan for boys, and I went off to college, Holy Family College, now they are a University, back then they were just HFC, good old Household Finance Company, but that's another story. Rather than being left high and dry on the beaches of time, my songwriting skills (...at least I think they're a skill) really started to florish. I was named Features Editor of the schools newspaper, The Trilite, in my second year. I was also named Program Director of the schools radio station, WTLN. All this and coupling it with an interest in writing and my chosen major English Literature my writing really started to flower. This was reflected in the songs I was beginning to compose., Gone were the days of writing where it seemed as if the main motivation behind my songs were some sort of made up relationship scenereio between a boy and a girl. Replacing these were songs that asked why?, why not?, how?, when?, where? and did my dog really ... in your living room? Anyway, in short, I guess the style remains with me today.
