Although this is not an official campaign post, I as a Ron Paul campaign volunteer and supporter remember my decision.
I held the value of a few hours of my time in one hand. I held the future of my children, nay, my progeny, in the other. If you know Ron Paul, you will need the following:

The speeches are brilliant and true. It's something my kids hear now and then instead of background noise. I try to plant the seeds of truth and patriotism. They see what we believe in and they learn to think for themselves as part of our society.

Ron Paul has been extremely effective - he got Federal reserve into the minds of the people and he got at least a partial audit of it.

By the way, Warren Buffet gave an interview today, said that he basically shorts the dollar, but he does it by buying commodities, that's exactly the point - USD is being inflated by the Fed and gov't printing it like the trees are falling down, buy oil, buy gold."

I agree concerning those who would abuse the program for the long-term. People should not be able to stay out of the economy if they are physically and mentally fit to work. Welfare should be a limited program for those who need a subsidy to keep themselves afloat for a temporary time while in between jobs or who are in a legitimate and serious need of financial aid (such as single mothers). Welfare reform in 1996 helped bring the cost of welfare down. Any unspent money from the stimulus should have been saved for future recessions.
