I am a peace-loving Muslim. The definition of Islam includes: surrender, submit, obey, sincerity, peace

I condemn all acts of violence and I urge victims of injustice to forgive those that commit injustice towards them wherever possible. Islam does not say "lay down and die", as we are to defend what we believe in if we are true believers, but I think the greater defense is not by physical retaliation (though that may be justified in certain situations - agression and transgression of reasonable self-defense is not allowed), rather it is by forgiving and acting as an example to the weak, and winning the argument intellectually.

Some examples of this attitude include: the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) forgave all those that persecuted the Muslims when he conquered Mecca, and he prayed for the people of Taif when they stoned him out of their town bleeding, when he went to invite them to Islam. This is not surprising as Prophets Jesus and Muhammad (pbut), all true messengers and prophets came from the same God with the same core message. People lost/corrupted the revelations given to Jesus (pbuh) and other past messengers.

Each revelation came to confirm the previous revelations in terms of the core message of one-ness of God, and to supercede/overwrite any human inserted errors. Unlike past revelations, God in the Qur'an promises to keep it (the Qur'an) safe from corruption Himself, so we know there will be no more revelations from God, because there is no need for it. History shows that the Qur'an has indeed remained uncorrupted. Not only is it preserved in book form, but as complete, accurate, memorisation in the minds of MILLIONS of Muslims. Glory be to God. No other scripture can claim this.

Jesus (pbuh) and ALL true messengers of God before him were Muslims, because they worshipped the one true God in absolute monotheism. All creation without free will is also Muslim because they can't do anything other than submit to God, ie they can't go beyond their nature.
