"Pursuit of knowledge"

********THIS WORLD's LIFE*************
Know that this World's life is only sport and play and gaiety and boasting among yourselves, and a vying in the multiplication of wealth and children, like the rain, whose causing the vegetation to grow, pleases the husbandmen; then it withers away so that you will see it becomes yellow, then it becomes dried up and broken down; and in the hereafter is a severe chastisement and (also) forgiveness from Allah and (His) pleasure; and this World's life is naught but means of deception.
HOLY QURAN, Surah Hadid, Ayat: 20

Imam Hussain a.s said:
""O ALLAH WHAT DID HE FINDS WHO LOST YOU, AND WHAT DID HE LOOSE WHO FOUND YOU.""
اے اللھ جس نے تجھے کھو دیا اس نے کیا پایا اور جس نے تجھے پا لیا اس نے کیا کھویا۔

The last spoken words of Imam Hussain a.s
""My Lord, I left all creation for the sake of you and orphaned the children so that I may see you.
So, if I am cut to pieces for the love of you. The heart will lean to none other than you.""

On his way to Karbala Imam Hussain a.s said,

"This World has changed and its good has turned tail. Nothing has remained from it except a thing that is as scanty as the left over of a cup and a mean life that is like a noxious grazing.
Have you not noticed that the right is ignored and the evil is not forbidden.....People are certainly the slaves of this World; religion is but a slaver on their tongues. They turn it wherever their livelihood demands. If they are examined by misfortunes, the truely religious will be but a few."

"Of all follies, the greatest is to love the World."
