it does not void the transmission. I read an article today... It will allow 4 successive lauch control launches before it deactivates the system for 20 minutes for it cool down. If the car breaks within these 4 trys, the warranty covers it.

I have owned 7 cams over the years, so with zoom, and some without. I really tried to buy ones with the zoom, and I never really used the zoom. Telephoto lens really darker as the extend to full zoom.
