I'm not sure Serena meant to distract her opponent with her cry. I think the crowd encouraged her disrespectful attitude to the chair umpire which is why she continued in the break. I've always found Serena to be fair and was expecting this outburst to be far worse than it actually is..

I think this is all a bit Groundhog Day with 'adoption' instead of 'S coming out'. S is right not to give in to C if he's not sure about adopting
