I was 19 when I saw Muddy and James Cotton for the 1st time. I'm 60 now and I still get juiced hearing Muddy on vinyl and cds. My son is 29 and he wishes he was born when I was so he could have seen Muddy. The blues-pass it on.

I love playing Muddy on the internet juke boxes in bars today, trying to introduce the blues to a mostly naive populace. First saw Muddy in 1970 with Pinetop, James Cotton and Willie Big Eyes Smith. Never forget the feeling that night. Keep the blues alive any way you can.

Thank you for the tunes. Talked to Muddy during a break in his set at a small club where he was playing one night in Milwaukee in 1971. I was 21 and was in awe of the man. Bigger than life. I'll never forget it. He was and is the best!

My all time favorite live recording from Wheels of Fire. In fact that record with Spoonful, Traintime and Toad is the finest live recording in the history of rock.
