I'm a Scottish bloke trying to learn Danish, which I've been doing for 4-5 years now.

My primary aim for this channel is to demonstrate some of the techniques and resources that I use, some reviews of various resources, and so on. Most of the videos will be in English, as my spoken Danish is pretty ropey just now. I should also point out that, as very few people choose to learn Danish as a hobby, I will be trying to make this channel as "generic" as possible - that is, I will talk more about the processes, techniques and experiences I've had of learning a second language rather than concentrating on one specific language. So, even if you're not learning Danish, there may be something here for you.

I should also point out that this channel will be updated relatively infrequently - most of the time, I will be posting my thoughts to my blog ( http://www.hvadsigerdu.me ), but I will try to post a video here once in a while.

I've also been learning German, Gaelic and Mandarin, but I've only just started on all three, so it'll be a while before I talk about them here.

I recently submitted my reasons behind my hobby to the polyglot book that the user "syzygycc" is putting together.

If you're wondering about my channel name, it is a play on the words "Rødgrød med fløde", which is used (comically) by Danes to test how good (or bad) non-Danes are at Danish pronunciation. It generally translates as "red berry pudding with cream". I've called my channel "Rødgrød uden fløde" which is "red berry pudding without cream". Ha. ha. Actually, it's not that funny at all, what was I thinking???
