@tkbs93 the noise you hear when its sitting is dry bearings in either the alternator, power steering pump or water pump. i'd be guessing alternator. my 72 impala that i just bought was sitting for 18 years and the alternator on it makes the same noise.

@clodzillaiv so your telling me that the 5-10% of the flow that you MIGHT get from a non-spinning waterpump is gonna keep that engine cool especially for that length of time doing all that revving. there is a reason why you put ELECTRIC waterpumps on an engine when you have it on a dyno....ya dum...
