Ben Spends is an animated short made by artists Mike Reynolds, Benjamin Hooper, and Lindsay Scoggins.

According to Creative Loafing, Ben Spends documents the, 'systematic and creative destruction of ...one-dollar bills as an ode to economic despair.'

Initially Ben Spends was exhibited in the Satellites section of the Lights on Tampa public art show in January 2009.

A classmate left a comment on Perezhilton.com. It said
"The professor loved this video in class, we were all rollin when she played this and I guarentee she got an "A+". It was for a Concepts class".

I didn't get in trouble. Few subjects are taboo in the art classes at USF. :)
