Also Thank You to everyone who has donated to Rodger's Memorial Fund. Your kindness and generosity are greatly appreciated. We have been told that if the fund can raise another $4,500 it will become an endowment and will then become a permanent scholarship at WMU. Info on the scholarship can be found at the link below.

Rodger's Family would like to thank everyone for the kind word, thoughts and prayers. It has meant a lot to us in this tragic time. For those who don't know what happenend. Rodger died on jan 27th (jan26th in the states) in Hanamaki Japan of internal bleeding into the abdominal cavity caused by acute pancreatitis.
A memorial fund has been set up at Western Michigan University called The Rodger Swan Memorial Fund for Japanese Studies. Links to this can be found here: http://www.causes.com/cause...
