This episode of Tokyo Swan sees myself and Irene going to the man made island of Odaiba for a day of fun in the sun. Odaiba is a very hip and trendy location in Tokyo where shopping malls, Fuji Television Headquarters, a miniature Statue of Liberty, and more come together in a very bright and cheerful location. Other highlights in the episode include a special Shonen Jump Shop in one of the malls selling various Naruto, Bleach, One Piece, Dragon Ball Z, and other popular anime series' merchandise. Then there's some pokemon, a giant Ferris wheel, food, Japanese game shows, Hello Kitty, and more in this action packed installment. The episode also turns into a Hollywood disaster film as well! I view this as one of my best episodes to date, and it was certainly one of the most fun to make as well. Hope you enjoy, and see you next time!

went to China Town in Yokohama. It was great, lots of cool places to see and they sure do love their pandas there! had a good lunch as well. It was a really hot day, it really is Summer in Japan now. Also includes footage of a park near minato mirai, and some of the shopping district in Yokohama (and also octopus balls!). So please enjoy another great episode of The Tokyo Swan Show... and see you next time!

This episodes continues from the language exchange episode shown last time. So I've since become a member of the Japanese/English acting club, and I was able to take some video of what the circle's acting session was like! It was very fun, and mostly in Japanese, so that was a bit of a challenge, but good practice for my Japanese. Improv skits, scripts, humor, and drama, it was a great night for acting haha! Also, afterwards the group went to this really good restaurant for some authentic Japanese food. This episode also features a new look on Tokyo Swan... what do you think haha?

In this episode of Tokyo Swan, I have joined an English acting club at Keio! Today's meeting is a special one though, as it's a language exchange meeting where Japanese members speak in English with international students who speak in Japanese. It was really fun, and I got to meet some great people through the club. I'm very happy to be a part of it, as everyone in the circle is wonderful! Also included is our footage of going to Johnny's Café, a hip burger joint in Hiyoshi. Tune in next week for a look at what a night of acting looks like.

This episode of Tokyo Swan sees me going to Fuchu city and Tama Cemetery to visit the graves of famous Japanese authors Mishima Yukio (三島 由紀夫)and Edogawa Rampo (江戸川 乱歩). On the way there, I stopped by some shrines and parks and took in the fun atmosphere of the city. This was a great episode to make, as I'm a huge fan of Japanese literature, so I was happy to get a chance to be in the presence (so to speak) of these authors.

This episode of Tokyo Swan is one that I've wanted to do for a long time. I went to Yokosuka, more specifically, Dobuita, to the locations where the Sega Dreamcast game Shenmue were based on. Shenmue is one of my top 10 video games of all time, and I was able to discover some of the same locations that were adapted into the game. Also of interest in this episode, I visited the US navy base in Yokosuka as well and that was quite interesting and not unlike a small colony of Americans residing in Japan. This episode is something I'm very proud of, and thus it's my largest episode to date (for best results watch it in high quality mode), and I included tracks from the Shenmue game this time around to go along with the vibe of the episode. I hope everyone enjoys this tribute to ryo hazuki, landi, nozomi, fuku-san, ine-san, choi, tom, chen, and the rest of the crew from this amazing game crafted by Yu Suzuki at Sega.
also, who else is with me in desperately hoping for a Shenmue 3?

This episode sees me and the gang on an adventure to go to a sumo practice, since going to an actual sumo match is quite expensive. However, without spoiling the episode let's just say I got some nice footage of the sumo museum. Afterwards, I went to electric town Akihabara on the hunt for some music, and enjoyed a nice sunny day in a district of strange filth and animated eroticism. This episode is the follow up to the popular hair cut video, and is somewhat done in the same lighthearted and talkative tone of that video. Please enjoy!

This episode of Tokyo Swan sees me teaming up with fellow Youtube Japan video makers TokyoCooney, TkyoSam, Discount Sausage, and Omikron with some other wonderful people as we teach conversational English with a group of Rikkyo University students from Ikebukuro. We went to Yoyogi park and just chatted for awhile and it was a great time. Afterwards, we went to the hub pub and then after that we had some arcade action in Shibuya. It was an amazing time, and really interesting to see the Youtube community come together like that. Always a pleasure getting to spend time my fellow video makers! You guys are the best! This episode also has my thoughts on clubbing in Japan, Sam doing his thing on Pop N' Music, and so much more. Enjoy!
