I LOVE this double live album SO much. Still play it all the time. SO MUCH FREAKING SOUL these guys and gals have. (And damn good musicians - sadly, many of the Mad Dogs/Englishmen are no more...)

Fats played SO beautifully. He was classically trained, I think. He had such a great persona, and died way too young.

@swiggy58a - God bless him, that IS Stu. Sadly, he was told he just didn't have "the look", so he had to take a backseat to those skinny boys in the sixties. But, they included him for years to come. Keith talks about Stu's death in his book "Life" with so much love. A very nice tribute albu...

You are so right, Keith. It's about chemistry and not just talent. Lots of brilliant musicians are hopeless with other brilliant musicians. You have to find the "CHEMISTRY", the magic glue.

Jim McCarty and John Hawken were in Toronto playing recently. I am SO sorry I missed the gig. John Hawken is a true gentleman, and talented as all getout. 'Hope he's in the best of health and comes back again....RIP Keith Relf....

WOW! I love Steve Nieve. He and Elvis C. came to Toronto a few years ago - just the two of them at Massey Hall. EC played 36 songs! It was a magical, intimate evening. Steve is SO damn talented. (EC too) I enjoyed watching this very much! Thanks! Grazie! Merci!
