There are indeed quite a few beyond remarkable guitarists who have gone underrated because of their propensity to play "country" music. Someone mentioned Albert Lee......indeed. Clapton called him the best; of course that's subjective...but his speed, and style have left their mark on many, many ...

@ilovemyipodnanoyesh Yeeesh; how can you hate a Tele? Contrary to popular belief, they can do a lot more than twang ( although twang is their undisputed niche), many ( mine included) can do really well on blues
