I already own a Gibson SG and a Germino (marshall, but better). There's some sort of delay/reverb effect that I've only heard used by Joe Perry on some Aerosmith tracks. Somebody out there knows what the time based effect is!!! Help!!!

If you're looking for tone in this ballpark I would try a Victoria 45412 or a Carr Rambler. Both cost less and are much more versatile. Frankly, I find it disappointing that both Fuchs and Two Rock charge such a fortune for circuit board amps...that's not to say they're not great amps I just want...

I actually own a rambler and a hammerhead. Yes, they're pricey but once you play through on of these you'll likely think it's worth the expense.

Also, people go for these types of amplifiers when they realize the real world limitations of large 50 & 100 watt stacks. Unless you play large outdoo...

Fenders sound better than the z-wreck? That's like comparing apples and oranges. One doesn't necessarily sound better than the other...it's just what you prefer. And last time I checked Fender never made an EL84 based amp.

The music business hasn't been good to this guy? Most people never earn a dime in this business after considering the value of your time and money spent. Audley is quite successfull if you ask me.

If you want one of these amps but are having sticker shock I rocommend trying a Carr Hammerhead. They're discountinued and can be had for around $1,000. It's a killer Marshall esq amp. It is definately the best value in the boutique amp secondary market.
