No prob tell me how it works for you. Plus if I were you I'd combine the 609 close up on the cab and then the condenser mic a lot farther way (maybe 10 ft or 20ft just experiment) and put it lower in the mix to add some room to your guitar it will sound a lot more 3D and much more professional

You know I'm not sure how big of a difference there is between the 2 I know the 906 has some cuts and pad switches but the element may be the same I'm not really sure. I use the 609 but they didn't have the 906 out when I got mine

Hey thanks and no prob I bet you'll like that mic a lot more than a 57 those are popular but I was never a big fan lol one guy said that he never hated anything enough to record it with an sm57 lol

Awesome man yeah a condenser is hard to use for your main mic on loud guitars. If I were you I'd check out a Sennheiser e-609 its a little more expensive than an sm-57 but way way better for loud guitar IMHO.
