@josephgrovers i too competetively high jump and every time i go they say if it falls after your jump it doesnt count, they even said the same thing for the state meet

@AlexxSparrow ok well the reason he jumps so far out is cause the higher you need to jump the longer it takes to get that high so he needs to jump farther out, I'll use myself as example in my videos you'll see that i jump close to the bar which doesnt give me as much time to reach my maximum hei...

seems like your main problem is your plant foot being to parallel and your focusing more on your back when your going over, emphasise your hips more and snap just a little fast and your form would be perfect. dont disregard this cause im young either i do know what im talking about and want to help

@dirkofyork i'd have to dissagree with the 2 and 3 step approach compared to a run up, if you do a run up you can convert all your speed into jumping upwards where if you take 2 or 3 steps your not gonna have that extra speed to get you up
