ROC NATION

The ROC recently collaborated all of its dance ministries into one unified group of on-fire-for-Jesus dancers: ROC NATION. The word nation is defined as a large body of people, associated with a particular territory, that is sufficiently conscious of its unity to seek or to possess a government peculiarly its own. Appropriately titled, ROC Nation is defined simply as a family, in unity, with a mind to serve Jesus Christ, and to minister to others through the gift of dance.

ROC Nation holds a high standard of excellence for its dancers. They strive to be the best, and in doing so, stress the importance of God and His Word being first in everything. The dancers are required to read and write about assigned chapters in the Bible, memorize scripture, and must have a strong attendance at dance practice in order to perform at church services and outreaches.

ROC Nation strives to capture the dancers heart in such a way that they never look anywhere other than Gods Kingdom to utilize the gifts that He has given them. ROC Nation also instills the value of serving in the hearts of its dancers. Aside from dancing, the dancers serve our community in the name of Jesus by performing, picking up trash, serving food, and being a blessing by any means necessary. ROC Nation promotes a family atmosphere where the dancers and leaders pray together and for one another, and laugh together.

ROC Nation has several groups separated by age: Juniors (ages 5-12), Seniors (ages 13-17), and adults (18 and over). All three groups learn the same dances to the same songs and perform them together.
