Devil King

The Dark God also saw the wisdom in using independent tools to act in his service, the hand in eternal bondage to the willful mind. To this end, he took several mortals and intertwined their inner souls with an element of the darkness that consumes the light. Not merely a thread of evil, but one of the very aspects of it. In this way, each of the mortals souls became distorted and twisted by not only the immense power of the rabid darkness, but also by the unbalance of having one sole part of them so greatly more influential then the rest. Each of these mortals became what came to be known as a Devil King. They are in a sense radically different from each other, due to the uniqueness of each element placed within them. However, of them all, the negative impulses are dominant, and so no heroes or saviors exist in their number. They are exceptional, but only as purveyors of all that is black and profane.
