I was there in the Super Dome for "The Shot." Most exciting sports moment in my life. Watching the video now .... the shorts are too funny. As Daryl Thomas said yesterday: "They shouldn't be legal" .... or something to that effect.

Mesmerizing to watch and yet not be part of the Circle dancing and singing. It is most wonderful to see Saadi leading this. And a Ya Fatah to the videographer. Your really captured the subtle nuances of the movements as well as the mood and emotion in the room.

Who is the female performer that introduces REK here? My wife suggests this may be Nancy Griffith .... but I can't tell. Also what year was this video recorded?

The guy that wrote the lyric to this traditional melody, "Londonderry Air" was an American, and never set foot on Irish soil. This is my favorite rendition, other than the Muppets!
