@HKHawkYankee Hey man, all Nirvana did was trade Husker Du-esque guitar for Black Flag-esque guitar, he kept everything else the same. The drum rolls you hear within Nirvana's songs as well as the drastic sound dynamics (soft then hard) come from Husker Du via Pixies.
