Astro-ephemeris animation for May 2013 by Robert von Heeren

301 views 1 year ago
Daily accurate positions of all these objects and many more are provided here: https://twitter.com/daily_a... - arcsecond precisions, updated every six hours!

This animation shows the real movement of the Sun, Moon and all main planets, Black Moon (the Moon's apparent apogee, Lilith), Pholus and Nessus and asteroids ANTeros, JUNo, PALlas, VESta, EROs, HARmonia, CUPido, APHrodite, LIEbe and FORtuna as seen from Earth in May 2013. The movements are within the (tropical, precessed) ecliptic/zodiac from our geocentric point of view on Earth. No house cusps are displayed because this is the mundane global animated chart without any dependency to local coordinates. A mundane chart presents the so-called time quality frame of reference. View it in full screen mode. You may use it as a preview or an visual animated ephemeris. The positions are calculated very accurate (take into account gravitational perturbations, light time, abberation, nutation, Delta-T etc.) by the Swiss astrology software Vision IV (www.astrosoft.ch). Computations are in 1 hour time (UT) intervals throughout the month. The Moon "jumps" a bit due to the time step. Explanations of the symbols are provided in another short introductory video here: http://www.youtube.com/watc... Show less
