Golden Ratio Rhythms and Harmonies
The golden ratio polyrhythm is the most "polyrhythmic" possible rhythm, hardest to approximate using whole numbers such as 8 : 5. The golden ratio harmony is as far as possible from "in tune" in the sense of pure ratio harmonies, but yet is a pleasant musical interval to listen to.
