Robert Cymbalski is driven with the desire to perform. His acting skills allow him to transform into a multitude of on screen and stage personalities. He is always on the hunt for the next role that will challenge his finely tuned acting skills. Robert started acting at a young age, at this time he and childhood directing friend Neil Mackay and now producer Sean McAulay were all on their way for bigger and better things. The countless days of filming video shorts quickly earned them the title of film makers in high school and quickly sealed their fame by their friends and the home town in which they all grew up in, Beeton Ontario.

Like anything else, the ones that achieve greatness have to adapt to change and realizing this, their video projects soon turned into the more expensive 35mm film route. With the adaptation of the internet, Robert, Neil and Sean had an idea to create a 35mm short that would introduce their talents to the world of short films. Their idea was to create a film about an investigator played by Robert, who is investigating strange murders. These murdered victims are killed after visiting a web site called deathdealer.com. The film was entitled DEATH DEALER.COM and took the gold at the Barrie International Short Film Festival for best film and also was nominated for best film at the Miami International Short Film Festival. Both festivals realized that not only the film was a success, but also introduced Robert as a key player to many film makers in the industry.

Over the past several years Robert has appeared in a number of television commercials and films. His film partners and childhood friends are at it again with 2 movies in production: SIMONS REACH and SKELETON LAKE. Both are scheduled for completion early 2011. Robert is currently negotiating production of MINUS 8. This is a feature length film in which a military Synthetic Humanoid Attack and Recon Drone (SHARD) played by Robert goes missing and hides on a gravel quarry in the remote north, taking work and blending in with his fellow workers. Later in the film, military contractors find the SHARD and use force to try and bring it home. This film is a high intense special effects driven project, which will start production this winter.

Robert has many interests and hobbies in life and has a highly active sports background. His passion for hockey almost landed him in the professional ranks as a goaltender, but his addiction for alpine skiing soon got the best of him and his hockey career took a back seat to his skiing. Robert also is an avid tennis, badminton, football, rugby, baseball, soccer, and lacrosse fanatic. He also has a passion for 2 wheeled vehicles and races street and motocross motorcycles. You can also find Robert tearing up the trails and taking his downhillmountain bike through terrain never thought possible. In short, there is no sport that Robert is not willing to try, or even master.
