Robert quit acting in the early nineties to go into stage management and television production which included starting his own production company Tribal West Media.
Today he and his partner Donncha Mac Donncha of 23yrs also run a organic holding in the Republic of Ireland.

I love I Claudius as a kid. As well as that had to be neat to be in front of great actors like Margaret, Derek, John Hurt, and all of that. Glad that Margaret looked after you on the set. Bet you had a blast on the set of I, Claudius.
