YouTube wants to force us into a Falanster. Imagine a huge ugly gray rectangle in the middle of my page, covering 75% of the background image. That's what YouTube has dreamed for us. The 'New Layout' once called 'Cosmic Panda'... Not a good omen, youtubers will soon become one of the endangered species... ;-)
Oh, and if you are a person who likes to socialize, visit friends' channels and leave comments there, and maybe you like to read comments from others while listening to the featured music, I have bad news: that will be gone too. You won't see the channel comments together with the featured video, like you are seeing it here. You will need to take extra steps to get to the comments. I think most of us won't have patience and time for that, right?
We all will be forced to use that awful unified crap, regardless of our opposition.
