I think this was released by the Chantels first, in 1957 as the flip side to their first hit "He's Gone." This was 1958. I love both versions, but this is pure wonderful Doo-Wop. Their "I Laughed" is one of my all-time favorites. Check it out if you haven't.

The year this came out I was going steady, as we called it, with a girl named Diane for three or four months. Needless to say this song steamed things up mucho. Thank you, Charts, and Diane I hope you had (are still having) a great life.
