My name is Preston Garcia. I was at the Republican National Convention in 2008 and I got some interesting video. I was there to show support to Ron Paul and his supporters, and my Girl Friend was an Alternate Delegate. I am making this channel to show the DISGRACE that took place at the convention. I want everyone to see how the powerful elite are taking away the civil liberties that belong to the common man more and more everyday. I had an interesting unique perspective from inside and outside the convention. I did my best to get all the interesting events on camera. The videos I have show an out of control police state. I hope to get enough evidence to show that the GOP was actually hiring the so called "anarchist" in order to instigate problems in order to bring in massive "security forces." I am not saying that there was not any real Anarchists at the convention. All I am saying is that they hired just a few "Agent Provocateurs" and had them commit the first violent act, and that was the "problem" in order to bring in the "solution" which is a virtual army.
At the convention there was no free speech. The visitors of the RNC were positioned so that if they chose, they would never even have to set eyes on the protestors. Sings on the floor during the convention were plants, and made to look like home made sings. There were multiple levels for Law Enforcement, I will go over my know list of security personal:
Local Police
State Police
Military Police
There were many Energy Department employees.
Secret Service
Department of Homeland Security
The Riot Police (Mostly off duty MP's and Police from around the state.)
Undercover Police
Excel Center Security
Anything that was not Pro McCain or Pro RNC was banned. There was no official representation of Ron Paul, although there were 100+ Delegates and Alternates in support of Ron Paul. At the beginning of the Convention, the RNC Committee Speaker said things like "The Republican Party does not demand conformity" and "We do not fear disagreement" which is a bold faced lie.
