This man is not Japanese. I suspect the video has been tampered with as there is a brief frame of another karateka part way through it. He knows the kata but his technique is not what you'd expect of a senior, Japanese, JKA instructor.

@jgannuny Hi. This is traditional style Mauritian sega music. I left the island 40 years ago. Don't recognise the singer so must be more contemporary. Get on to a Mauritian website and ask there. Good luck!
