@FOXeye95 The reason they "ignored its origins" is because these aren't even the same developers. The original OFP designers hadn't the rights to the franchise, so they went on to create ArmA/Arma 2. If you are looking for the sequel to OFP, that is what you want.

OFP2 is just a shooter on rails...

Sorry guys, but ArmA 2 is a better game. ArmA and ArmA 2 reminds me of why the original Operation Flashpoint grabbed me so hard and sucked me in. It feels realistic, and puts you out in the field to fend for yourself, however you decide to do it. There just aren't many games like that.
