Yes gone are the days of the smooth tone of a pushrod 5.0. I dont think i will ever get used to these modular engines.

Hey i was wondering if your exhaust runs down the passenger side. Mine does and I really want to put an x pipe on it but I have heard that it wont do anything with the unequal lenths of the pipes. @Thingsfallingapart77 They also make a cone filter that has two holes for both intake pipes, the stock intake is only restrictive at the air box so a cone is all you need. Got one on mine and what a difference!

@flamingpipes 302 still beats it in reliability and they are also very easy to get extra horses out of.

@10jdrake I have the same set up on my 95 but i don't have any cats. Between 2000 and 2600 rpm it has the classic 5.0ho stang sound. You gotta cut that other cat out.

@MSJDesign well yes they did use wings in the seventies but honestly. Look at any ricer out there, the wing is obviously for show seeing as most are not built in a way that would create downforce and when speed limits are 110km?h it has no benefit anyways. I guarantee most people don't race them ...

@BEBNC1 same motor in the f150s I got one in mine and I love it. There is no better sounding motor than a ford 5.0 from 60's to 90's. The new ones are pretty sweet too, you can't complain with overhead cams, less moving parts.

My dads tranny lasted almost 300 000 clicks before the truck was stolen and he was pulling an upwards of 15000 pounds every weekend throughout spring summer and fall. Problem was the motor, FICM kept going as well as head gaskets. Internationals only good diesel was the 7.3 the rest were shit.
