Hi all & thanks for dropping in ;)

Currently in the middle of reassembling the whole truck after painting frame, major trans upgrades, all new forged internals, major fuel system upgrade as well as stand alone engine management. Oh, also polished, powder coated or painted everything on the engine (myself)

It was quick before, should be fast now :)

Ton of pictures & year over year changes as well as tips & info on how to make your 5.9 much faster at my website www.rm-indy.com

May start another channel to keep my model railroading & truck related vids seperate.

Upgraded my software to Photoshop & Studio Pro X3, hardware upgraded to 14.2mp Panasonic HDC TM700 (1920x1080@60fps in 5.1)
Country:
Canada
Interests:
Computers, website building/maintaining, light fabrication work, modifying, painting & powder coating my 96 Dodge Ram Indy. Dragracing it as well. Winter hobby is model railroading in HO scale. Currently working on layout around dual purpose 22x12' room. Layout is partial shelf, partial frame construction. DCC layout has about 135' mainline with 3yards

Fullback44, remove the tb spacer its not helping, if you have access to a dremel could do a home port job on the tb, cut off the horns, open it up slightly above the butterflies, instead of the Superchip or Hypertech, instead get SCT tuner from guy called Hemifever (search dodgetruck.com or dodgeforum.com) Bit of weight reduction will free up power, never carry anything you dont need. Gears will help out off the line the most. Though not cheap will be well worth it. 3.92 give a small gain, 4.10 would be better. 4.10 will probably give slightly better city mpg but cost on highway.

hey man i have a 99 5.9l with 3.55 gears, flowmaster super 44s, airaid CAI, poweraid throttlebody spacer, and i was wondering what other things i can do that arnt to expensive that can help with acceleration. Im thinking about buying either a superchip or hypertech programmer, im 16 years old so im limited on cash but im an extreme mopar fan, i can do my own welding and fab, thats not an issue just the cash! it feels fast once it hits second gear. i feel my 1st gear is a little laggy. thanks man.

Good looking truck you have,
I used to have a powerdyne supercharger on my Indy truck.
Now its a 408 and i love it.Al the truck needs is a weight reduction.

Thanks, shes a never ending project. Kudos to you with your Daytona also ;) You'll love the STS, will put a big smile on your face. To get the most out of one, really need to get an SCT tuner from hemifever (dodgetalk.com sponsor/on many other sites also) if your not already using one. Hes got great prices and can supply you with unlimited tunes.

Most Ive talked to that added P-1SC gained 50-55% rwhp, torque up about 40%. Start at 4600, may get a better deal way things are these days. Can run with what they supply but must go to a dyno to tune your fuel safely. Smart to add a/f gauge with wideband o2, fuel pressure, boost pressure for monitoring and cause they look sweet lol. Strongly suggest a trans temp gauge and deeper pan also may need additional trans cooler especially if you have any internal changes to your 5.9. Went from hitting 210 when going WOT na to 230 & that was only seeing 3.5psi at first (way under driven) Upgraded coil, digtal ign box, bigger wires, 3923 autolite copper plugs(gap .035), brass cap/rotor should be added IMHO.
