hehe i got the title backwards, the proper title is "the poverty of theory." apologies

speaking of cultural theory and marx, i received as a hand-me-down the book "the theory of poverty" by ep thompson. all i can make of it is some kind of critique on althusser, but its way beyond my grasp. nevertheles i am still interested in reading it - perhaps stumlbing through it as a blindman in a bog. anyone have suggestions?
