In 2007, Retha placed 1st Runner Up in the Bay Area Black Comedy Competition. She was also crowned Winner of the 2007 California's Funniest Female contest, and Winner of the 1st Annual California Comedy Festival.
Retha can also be seen in various film and television projects such as UPN's One on One, Lifetime's STRONG MEDICINE, and Breakaway Film's MY BIG PHAT HIP HOP FAMILY.
In 2003 Retha was dubbed by L.A. TIMES as on of "Five To Watch".

and despite how you felt when you did your set! i enjoy it, that's why i had it on tape i knew the language from the comedians on that show was excessive but you did your thing sista!
