River Legacy Foundation is a unique public/private partnership between the city of Arlington and the Foundation charged with preserving and enhancing the forest floodplain along the Trinity River as an extraordinary natural educational and recreational amenity. The Foundation also offers a variety of multi-faceted environmental education programming for children and adults at its 12,000-square-foot Living Science Center located adjacent to River Legacy Parks.
