I am constantly amazed by the claims about the so called 'Islamic' golden age. Let me see, did they have computers and the software to run them, did they harness electricity, did they decode DNA, did they unlock the genome? Did they have global communication, colour printing, satellites, rockets, aircraft, trains? No. Furthermore, what has an occult ideology that demands faith and submission have in common with scientific reasoning, skepticism, open debate and evidence? Not a lot; in fact as many religious fundamentalists whether Islamic or Christian, know very well, there is a profound incompatibility between their own fixed views and scientific investigation and mathematics.
