I had the same problem on my 2000 miata w a M45 JRSC. Tried all kinds of things, replaced hosing, spark plug wires, different sensor settings, even pulled out the fuses out of my fuse box a few times to "reset" the computer. Finally fixed it by starting and stopping much more smoothly than before...
