No one mentioned to me anything about coal setting off my metal detector . Weird it happened twice to me a piece from a hole in my backyard found in a burn pit, and another in the woods. Had fun today nothing big a few old shotgun shells. But you taught me good bring everything you find out with you so you don't dig it up again. Happy Hunting

great ! , i'm glad you got a metal detector, make journal of all your hunts and what you found that day, try to keep track of all the coin you have found, i wish i did but didnt . Good Luck diggin
