Akiri is the secret daughter that Jariya and Tsunade had. When Jariya left the village, Tsunade raised Akiri by herself along with Sakura. Akiri is 5 years older than Sakura but they were instantly best friends. The only difference Sakura and Akiri is that Sakura is interested in the Art of Medical Ninja Healing while Akiri wants to be a regular shinobi, not a medical ninja. But as her duty to sereve Konoha and become a medical ninja, Akiri runs away from home for the search of her long-lost father, Jariya. When Akiri loses her strength and gets captured by Pein, the akatsuki leader, she meets Sasori and falls in love with him.
When Sakura, her best friend kills Sasori, she jusrt revives Sasori-kun! Akiri goes back to Konoha to tell her mother that she wants to leave Konoha and marry Sasori, her mother becomes angry and does not intend to let her go. Akiri si working hard to get her mother's permission to marry Sasori! But for now she is happily engaged. ^_^
