About Me:
 
I was born in South London during the blitz of 1942. At the age of 13 I studied under Louis Gallo and Ike Isaacs Jazz guitar and music composition. I then started jamming with dance bands and skiffle bands developing my talents until I formed my first band Flip Jackson 5 who went on to win the all Nation Carol Lavis discoveries. from there I joined numerous Rock Bands such as Terry Dean, Lord Such, Rob Storm,Kenny Lunch, and the Springfields. Moving on into the sixties I found myself being more inspired by composing for Rod Stewart, Georgie Fame, Zoot Money, The Cream, Tommy Jamies and the Shondells, Riot Squad, Charlie Rich,Carl Wayne, Shirley Bassey, Jerry Lee Lewis, Don Everly, Richard Harris, Frankie Valley and the Four Seasons, Leo Sayer,Elvis Costello who had a hit with I stand accused . Also Ricky Skaggs who had a number one hit with Country Boy which I co-wrote. During the latter part of the 60,s I was a founder member of Poet and the One Man Band,and Heads Hands and Feet.Band memebers included Albert Lee, Chas Hodges, Pete Gavin, Tony Colton. The band folded in 1972 ,I then decided to turn my talent back to film,television and composeing. Through my composeing my wife and I put together our company Redfawn Music .
