In case you don't see my reply to your statement regarding land based ice masses or glaciers, only 23% of the earth's surface is land, 77% is ocean/water. Now of this 23% , how much is covered in ice?, well less than 0.07%. SO the conclusion is: 0.07% of only 23% of total surface is not enough water to cause ANY noticeable difference on a global scale.
